carb fiddling

all needles raised now by 2.5 mm using a brass spacer. ive left the pilot jet at 2.5 turns out. Airbox is off totally and all inlet rubber clips tightened. The engine revs freely with no lag when the throttle is blipped to around 7000. Seems clean enough. Still got to test it under load.

If I can run it now without restricting the airflow into the funnel then I may be able to use the Suzuki Tlr tank as Ive always preferred the shape. May be create a way of directing the air from the fairing scoops of the tlr fairing.
I ve also re routed the clutch pipework so it doesnt foul anything as before it was the wrong side of the forks.
To use the Tlr tank Ive got to seal the underside of the tank where the Tlr's fuel pump would have gone. picture to follow.
Front brakes need bleeding as they get spongy after its been left standing. Clutch fluid needs topping up and bleeding. Little by little its getting there.

Looks quite the beasty now.
