Today I had half an hour spare to loosen the head stock as it was feeling stiff after the last race. After doing this it still felts tight so Ill have to do it again, might re'pack the tapered bearings with new grease. Got a new battery, the last one lasted a year but was rather cheap, not sure if the regulator fried it or I had'nt followed the initial instructions when I originally bought it. Apparently the first charge is the most crucial, its supposed to be trickle charged for 5 hours with the acid caps loosely fitted, then once off charge left for an hour and then push the acid/sealing caps down so they are flush with the top of the battery so to make a permanent seal. we will see.
changed front sprocket to 16, leaving rear at 45.
